Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with best practices
- Monitor and document residents' health status and changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, care plans, and available resources
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M)
- Valid CPR/ First Aid certification
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
