Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

The Senior ASIC/FPGA Designer will be responsible for working in an exciting team environment to develop detailed design specifications from high-level requirements. They will write RTL code, run block-level simulations, and perform lab bring-up and product integration tasks.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as the candidate will need to interface with the verification team, hardware team, and support team on a regular basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the ASIC/FPGA design field.
  • Strong RTL coding skills.
  • Strong scripting skills.
  • Familiarity with SONET, OTN, Ethernet, and PCIe.
  • Excellent ability to work in a team.
  • Experience with System Verilog would be an asset.
  • Experience with SoC design would be an asset.
  • Software background would be an asset.
