At UNIQUE MACHINING CONCEPTS INC., we are seeking a skilled Machine Fitter to join our team. As a Machine Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery. Your tasks will include moving and aligning subassemblies and components, installing major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies, and inspecting furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly and a keen eye for detail. You will work in a noisy environment and be required to work 32 to 35 hours per week. Key Responsibilities:

  • Fitting and assembling prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery
  • Moving and aligning subassemblies and components
  • Installing major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies
  • Inspecting furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 32 to 35 hours per week
