Job Description
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will play a vital role in supporting and delivering personalized activities of daily living to meet the needs of our residents.
This includes ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship, and nutritional support.
You will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, building trusted relationships with residents, families, and colleagues through effective communication.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certification from a certified educational facility or internationally educated nurse
- Strong drive, respect, and understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
- Focus on teamwork and customer service with ability to build trusted relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
