We are seeking an Electrical Project Lead to join our Power Systems Department in Syracuse, New York.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers in designing state-of-the-art substation projects in the US.

As our new Electrical Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing time, quality, and financial aspects on projects to meet deadlines and project success criteria.

You will serve as a substation engineer, guiding and reviewing designs for medium and high voltage substation projects.

Key responsibilities include ensuring Ramboll QA/QC procedures are implemented, hosting design meetings, and building client relationships.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in substation facility design with layout optimization knowledge
  • Significant project management experience, preferably within a similar role
  • Professional Engineering License highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of utility practices, industry codes, and standards (NESC, IEEE)
