Special Education Supply Teacher Opportunities
We are seeking Special Education Teachers who wish to have a province-wide impact on the education of students with learning disabilities. Our school is dedicated to providing quality education for students with learning disabilities in a student lodging school setting.
As a Special Education Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Elementary/Secondary homeroom, and may be required to teach English, History, Science or other courses as assigned. You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and work in partnership with the residence staff.
Requirements:
- Valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers;
- Special Education qualifications (minimum Part 1) preferred;
- Appropriate division qualifications for position required;
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold or are in the process of obtaining a Temporary Certificate of Qualification and Registration.
Responsibilities:
- Teach students with learning disabilities in a student lodging school setting;
- Develop and implement individualized education plans;
- Work collaboratively with the residence staff to support students with learning disabilities;
- Provide support and accommodations to students with learning disabilities.
What We Offer:
- A daily rate of pay for Supply Teacher – certified is $255.70;
- A daily rate of pay for Supply Teacher – uncertified is $214.25;
