Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team at Ontario Energy Care Services. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising professional and support staff, administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise professional and support staff
- Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment
- Perform administrative tasks
- Plan development projects
- Recruit and hire staff
- Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals
- Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
- Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies

- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
