Job Summary:

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is seeking skilled Industrial Instrumentation Technicians to join our team. As an Industrial Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial instrumentation systems in various oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure instrumentation systems meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and implement process control systems to optimize industrial processes.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure instrumentation systems are functioning properly.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Instrument certificate or registered Instrumentation Apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year).
  • Previous experience working in the industrial oil and gas sector, preferably in instrumentation construction and maintenance.
  • Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
