Fumigation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fumigation Specialist to join our team at SGS Canada Inc. As a Fumigation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing container fumigations, pre-shipment and quarantine, while adhering to SGS guidelines and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform container fumigations safely and efficiently.
• Generate documents for vessel and quarantined container fumigations.
• Conduct inspections and accomplish requirements according to the scope of job.
• Maintain constant communication with operations.
• Ensure accurate and complete logs are kept.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years experience in fumigating role is an asset.
• Training and licenses in Pesticide Applicator Licence, Confined Space Training Level 1, First Aid Level 1, WHMIS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods are necessary.
