Job Description

This Manufacturing Support Specialist position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of components.

Responsibilities:

  • Safeguards a healthy work environment by adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Contributes to maintaining a high-quality work environment by following guidelines and procedures.
  • Identifies potential defects and notifies relevant teams to prevent substandard products from entering the supply chain.
  • Carries out regular checks, documentation, and record-keeping to guarantee consistency and efficiency.
  • Transfers defective items to designated storage areas.
  • Labels, marks, and packages goods correctly for distribution.
  • Performs various duties such as picking, sorting, reworking, and packing.
  • May need to move heavy equipment within the production area.
  • Assists with final product assembly and quality control.
  • Participates in routine cleaning duties and maintains a clean workspace.
  • Takes part in daily meetings with departmental teams.

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Able to understand and comply with standardized instructions and work methods.
  • Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English.
  • Physically able to perform various actions like lifting, bending, and operating machinery.
  • Possesses adequate hand-eye-foot coordination.
  • Must be capable of lifting loads up to 40 pounds.
