About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Quality and Patient Safety program, you will play a critical role in driving quality improvement initiatives across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and expertise in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives to improve patient-centered care, service utilization, patient safety, and risk reduction.
  • Collaborate with health care leaders, managers, and physicians to provide coaching, facilitation, and education on quality improvement principles, practices, and proven quality scientific methods.
  • Develop and implement best practices related to improving quality across IH, including the integration of quality improvement initiatives and the use of reliable data to monitor and measure progress.
  • Participate in serious incident reviews and provide reports and recommendations for action arising out of incident investigation.
