Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pure Life Physiotherapy & Health Centre. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment.
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and rehabilitation programs.
  • Supervise technical and support staff, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages, as well as clean and maintain equipment.
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, and lay out surgical instruments.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation, adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Plan physiotherapy programs, process claims, and select appropriate exercises and apparatus.
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports, inventory, and supplies, as well as confer with other health professionals.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain attention to detail.
