Machine Learning Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Scientist to join our team at DarkVision, a leading provider of ultrasound imaging asset inspection systems. As a Machine Learning Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing deep learning architectures that learn efficient generalizable representations for several vision-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop state-of-the-art deep learning models to solve large-scale industrial problems.
  • Work with our ML Ops team to build cloud-based pipelines for large-scale image pre-processing, data-augmentation, training, post-processing, and inference.
  • Deploy models in production for end-users and continuously monitor their performance.
  • Collaborate with our Data Analysts to explore, analyze, and organize data for training and evaluation purposes.
  • Document model architecture, training details, and dataset extraction procedures for reproducibility and product management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • Proficient in Python and at least one mainstream deep learning framework, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, etc.
  • Experience developing deep learning models for computer vision tasks and working with medical or industrial ultrasound images.
  • Strong communication and data presentation skills.
