Job Title: Personal Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Gregory Dube. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide assistance to clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality

Work Setting: This position is available on a live-in basis with optional accommodation at no charge. Room and board will be provided.

Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required for this position.

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
