Bar Server

We are seeking a skilled Bar Server to join our team at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication skills. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our customers.

• Prepare and serve beverages, food, and snacks to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Previous experience as a Bar Server or in a related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

• $45,000 - $60,000 per year (estimated salary based on location).
• Free parking available.
• Permanent full-time position (4-36 hours per week).
• Work language: English.
