Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver at Auto Parts Centres. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently checking, picking, receiving, shipping, stocking, and organizing automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all store warehouse duties, including picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking, and organizing.
  • Help control inventory and ensure product availability.
  • Coordinate drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles.
  • Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner.
  • Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles.
  • Efficiently and correctly complete deliveries, being mindful of customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and shared spaces neat.
  • Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • A valid G Driver's License and a clean 3-year driver's abstract are required.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to sort alphanumerically are necessary.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook, online databases, and web-based training, are required.
  • Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and stock maintenance experience are assets.
  • Driver dispatching experience is also an asset.
