Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at FAIRFAB LIMITED. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Drive a semi-trailer truck to transport goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, performing preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Load and Unload: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring they are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), and a valid driver's license.
  • Communication Systems: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial experience.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, sit for extended periods, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, reliable, and willing to travel cross-border.
