Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled People and Culture / HR practitioner to fill the role of Strategic Project Officer - People and Culture. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Learning and Development program for 2025, developing an annual L&D program, collating and updating internal procedures, and assisting with other projects where required. This role may be performed flexibly and/or remotely for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality learning and development programs to support the growth and development of our employees
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address talent management needs
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on human resources matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in People and Culture / HR, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive information

Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive remuneration package, including:
  • An attractive base salary of approx. $91,000 - $98,000 per annum pro rata
  • In addition to base salary, generous allowances (Location and Housing Assistance of up to $18,000 pa pro rata) and employer matched superannuation with a total max contribution of 15.5%
  • Leave entitlements well above industry minimums, including additional annual leave and monthly rostered days off
