Job Description

As a Sales Associate at Rocket, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the store in a safe, customer-focused, and profitable manner. Your duties will include daily cash handling, lighting and fixtures cleaning and maintenance, and ensuring the security of all inventory and currency to avoid theft and inventory shrinkage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash handling and sales transactions
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Ensure the security of all inventory and currency
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
  • Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired
  • Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours
  • Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs

Working Conditions:

The Sales Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
