Geophysicist Specialist

At Expert Geophysics Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting theoretical and applied research to extend knowledge of surface and subsurface features of the earth. This will involve developing models and applied software for the analysis and interpretation of data, as well as identifying and advising on anticipated natural risks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geophysics and a bachelor's degree in a related field. They will also have experience in planning analytical studies of core samples to identify chemical, mineral, hydrocarbon and biological composition, and in planning, directing and participating in analyses of geological, geochemical and geophysical survey data, well logs and other test results, maps, notes and cross sections.

The successful candidate will be a team player with strong attention to detail and accurate judgement. They will also have reliability and be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking environments.

We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week and a language of work in English.
