Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
- Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
