Job Title: Supervisor of Housing Stability Services

Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Housing Stability Services will oversee the delivery of housing and homelessness programs, providing leadership and guidance to frontline staff. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with community agencies, provincial and federal partners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support frontline staff in the delivery of housing and homelessness programs.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and address homelessness.
  • Collaborate with community agencies, provincial and federal partners, and other stakeholders to support housing and homelessness initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Social Sciences or related field.
  • Five years' experience in a consolidated municipal service field, specifically in Housing and Homelessness.
  • Experience leading programs for and working with vulnerable individuals and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with community agencies, provincial and federal partners, and other stakeholders.
