Job Title: Governess - Child Care

HAFIDA ATTAR is seeking a qualified and experienced Governess to join our team. As a Governess, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide education and care to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and games to promote learning and development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children.
  • Establish and maintain a daily routine that includes homework help, outdoor play, and quiet time.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and updates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking and scent-free environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Language:
  • Fluency in English (bilingualism an asset).
Availability:
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
