About the Role:

Colas Western Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Ready Mix Truck Driver to join its team in Nelson, BC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a Ready Mix Truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Ready Mix Truck to deliver concrete to construction sites
  • Complete driving assignments in a timely and safe manner
  • Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and meet customer needs

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 driver's license (Class 1 preferred)
  • Pass a MVR and drug test
  • Experience operating a Ready Mix Truck or similar heavy equipment in a construction environment
  • Ability to work extended hours with irregular breaks
  • Physical ability to lift and move products
