Job DescriptionThis permanent position is approximately 35 hours per week and comes with an attractive salary of $$53,500/year.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing timely and accurate reports.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, identifying any discrepancies.
- Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, highlighting key trends and insights.
- A valid Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
