Android Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team at Electric Mind. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and releasing native mobile applications using Android.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Android Studio and be fluent in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, they will be knowledgeable about User Experience best practices and design.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing creative and innovative mobile solutions
  • Estimating, tasking, and prototyping
  • Contributing clear and maintainable code to a shared codebase
  • Collaborating with cross-functional team members on features, design, and implementation
  • Investigating, learning, and applying new technologies and processes
  • Clarifying requirements with team and client representatives

Preferred qualifications include experience with Agile approaches to software development, such as testing, continuous integration, and pair programming. Additionally, experience with Social Network APIs, distributed version control, and releasing to the Google Play Console or iTunes App Store is a plus.
