Position Overview
The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University invites applications for a three-year Extended Term Appointment (ETA) faculty position in the area of Engineering Fundamentals.
As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching core undergraduate engineering and engineering mathematics courses, as well as contributing to Department and program administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and develop core undergraduate engineering and engineering mathematics courses
- Contribute to Department and program administration, including the implementation of CEAB Graduate Attributes
- Supervise students' project work and provide academic guidance
- Participate in curriculum development and course evaluation
Qualifications and Assets
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace engineering and a Ph.D. degree in an Engineering discipline related to these fields. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required. Relevant engineering experience and/or industrial experience will be a definite asset.
