Senior Woodworker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Woodworker to join our team at Miclex Construction Inc.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and woodwork, with a focus on precision and quality. As a Senior Woodworker, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure and cut materials accurately and efficiently
- Assemble and join materials using various techniques and tools
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project deadlines and goals
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in carpentry and woodwork
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to worksites
- Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat and safety vest as required
- Working at heights training and First Aid Certificate an asset
