Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper to join our team at Elevate Drywall Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist in various tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and mixing and pouring materials. They will also assist in demolishing buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in noisy environments
  • Physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude
