Job Title: Database Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team at Canada Resurgence Developments Ltd. in a permanent, hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week.

About the Role

The Database Analyst will be responsible for collecting data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure. They will develop and implement a strategic blueprint for deploying databases and maintain computer databases. The ideal candidate will liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability, and set up the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.

  • Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability
  • Set up the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases
  • Test data models and database management systems
  • Design and develop databases
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, and data access rules
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data
