Job Summary

The Chief Technology Infrastructure Operations Officer will oversee the operations of the IT infrastructure practice within the organization, providing leadership, strategic direction, and technical expertise to ensure the effective functioning of IT infrastructure systems. This role involves technical leadership to a team of infrastructure professionals, developing best practices and standards, implementing operational processes, and fostering innovation to optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in the Solution Review Board, providing technical expertise and guidance on proposed solutions and initiatives.
  2. Offer technical advisory services to internal teams and stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions regarding infrastructure technologies and implementations.
  3. Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives, outlining future initiatives and technology enhancements.
  4. Optimize current technologies and processes to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of IT infrastructure operations.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) configuration and process.
  6. Ensure adherence to ITIL or similar frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  7. Provide technical guidance and expertise to address complex infrastructure challenges and optimize performance.
  8. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform infrastructure strategy and decision-making.
  9. Offer technical architectural leadership, designing and validating scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
  10. Provide technical direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure practice, aligning it with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and/or Computing Systems Technology
• ITIL Certification
• 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations practice/team leadership
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue-resolution techniques
• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis
• Experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Broad technical expertise across multiple infrastructure technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of requirements and specifications
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex business processes and systems and identify areas for improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the systems analysis process
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• A customer-centric approach, understanding and prioritizing the needs of end-users and business stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and other technology professionals
