Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide high-quality care to elderly and recovering patients in the Toronto area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Provide bedside and personal care, including changing diapers and administering medications through a g-tube
  • Transfer patients from bed to wheelchair using a Hoyer lift
  • Assist with feeding and provide liquid meals through a g-tube
  • Perform laundry and other household tasks

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients to hospital appointments and provide support during admission
  • Provide companionship and mental stimulation through activities such as exercise, reading, playing games, music, painting, and crafts

Requirements:

  • Experience working with elderly and recovering patients
  • Ability to provide high-quality care and support
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility to consider weekends on a case-by-case basis
