Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment of GCP solutions to our clients. Your expertise in cloud transformation, release engineering, and technical leadership will be instrumental in driving our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical leads and client teams to design and implement GCP solutions.
  • Manage deployment activities, ensuring timely and successful releases.
  • Take ownership of the production pipeline, identifying and resolving issues that impact release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Work closely with client development and quality assurance stakeholders to develop and execute robust test and release processes.
  • Facilitate resolution of deployment problems with development, quality assurance, and technical operations teams.
  • Proactively identify and implement software release process improvements to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience with large-scale public cloud environments, particularly GCP.
  • Proficiency in software automation using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to streamline change management practices.
  • Experience in release engineering for complex applications.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with engineering and technical operations teams.
  • Programming experience in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Full-time experience in release engineering, DevOps, or software automation.
  • Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with source code version control systems like Git.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • GCP experience.
  • Experience with policy-as-code (such as OPA).
  • Strong understanding of Google SRE best practices.
  • Experience in large-scale, secure, and high-availability solutions in cloud environments like GCP.
