We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at North Nechako Foods. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and cash handling area
- Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
