Job Description

Daiken North America LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at our Huntsville facility. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, constructing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and systems in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, equipment, and controls, in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Code and company policies.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including PLCs and AC/DC drives.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance electrical system efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Industrial Electrician Certification 309A.
  • Electrical Engineering Technologist with 309A would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders and scissor lifts.
  • Good mechanical troubleshooting skills.
