About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team at Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd. in Scarborough. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of automated and manual commercial and residential irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply irrigation throughout the park following a specific schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various system components as required.
  • Assist in the installation of modifications to an existing system or the addition of new systems.
  • Implement the turf maintenance program as required.
  • Perform line trimming and backpack blowing as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in irrigation system operation and maintenance.
  • Certified Irrigation Technician status (Landscape Ontario) or equivalent is an asset.
  • Familiarity with plumbing techniques and materials, as well as turf maintenance equipment operation and practices.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license (class G/G2).
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Must provide own CSA-approved safety footwear.
What We Offer
