About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Hockey Operations at Hollyburn Country Club. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ice sports programs, including minor hockey, men's hockey, women's hockey, and hockey programs for youth and adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Oversee the development and implementation of ice sports programs, ensuring alignment with the club's strategic objectives.
    • Supervise and manage a team of coaches, instructors, and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Athletics to develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
  • Program Development and Management
    • Design and deliver ice sports programs that meet the needs and expectations of our members, including minor hockey, men's hockey, women's hockey, and hockey programs for youth and adults.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our ice sports programs, increasing participation and revenue.
    • Manage the scheduling and coordination of ice time, ensuring optimal use of our facilities.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with members, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information is shared.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ice sports department, including staff supervision, program coordination, and facility maintenance.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and club policies.
