About the Role

Adeer Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of Drywall Sheets: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to create a solid foundation for our construction projects.
  • Taping and Joint Compound Application: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Compound Application and Sanding: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Ceiling Grid Installation: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Language: English.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
