About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Foreman/Woman to join our team at Benning Investments Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the efficient and sustainable production of crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Planning and Development: Consider water saturation, light, and temperature when planning for crop growth and development.
  • Crop Maintenance: Cut agricultural crops, develop specific plans to prioritize, direct agricultural crops deleafing activities, and maintain financial and production records.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Physical Accessibility: Provide physical accessibility accommodations for employees and visitors.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced agricultural environment with a 40-hour workweek.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
