About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Fitter to join our team at GOLDMINES CONSTRUCTION INC. As a Tile Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and finishing tile surfaces in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by measuring, marking, and cleaning them.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Install tile strips and ensure a seamless finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Ability to work 38 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
