About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Sentinel D.E.C. Systems Inc. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
  • Repair and maintain existing fire alarm systems, including replacing defective or worn-out parts and components.
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to identify any faults or issues.
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults to determine the cause of any problems.
  • Test and adjust repaired products to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Complete work orders and test and maintenance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues alike.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as electronics or electrical engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as fire alarm system installation and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
