Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at S B Arora Management Services Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales tasks to team members, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered and customers receive a seamless shopping experience.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments: Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records.
- Order Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and inventory is accurately managed.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting products and driving sales growth.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve supply chain issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Organize Inventory: Manage stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure that merchandise is displayed effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the activities of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee Payroll: Manage payroll administration, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Tasks: Supervise staff, assign sales tasks, hire and train staff, authorize payments, order merchandise, sell merchandise, prepare reports, resolve issues, organize inventory, supervise and coordinate activities, oversee payroll administration.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player, ability to multitask.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, permanent position, 30 hours per week, English language.
