Job Summary: We are seeking an Electronics Systems Designer to join our team at TAVIL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing risk management plans, conducting research, and analyzing dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop risk management plans to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems
  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems
  • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures to identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to optimize system performance
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Design power plants, machines, and equipment to meet the needs of our clients
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Experience working with mechanical systems and structures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
