Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of assignments, contributing to the overall success of our team. This position involves coordinating various aspects of the assessment process, including writing and preparing Facility Condition Assessments as per ASTM2018-24.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write and prepare Facility Condition Assessments as per ASTM2018-24.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant data, including property records, blueprints, and historical documentation, to support the assessment process.
  • Compile and organize assessment reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with coordinators, assessors, and other team members to facilitate effective communication and timely project delivery.
  • Provide administrative support, such as managing documentation, maintaining project files, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field to Building Science. A diploma/Degree in Architecture is also preferred.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the Facility Condition Assessments.
  • Experience in using VFA Software or any other equivalent asset management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project deliverables.
  • Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe.
  • Good report-writing skills.
  • A Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

This salary estimate is based on the location, job requirements, and industry standards. The actual salary may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
