Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to all guests, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
  • Manage guest flow and seating capacity to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and managers to ensure seamless service.
  • Escort guests to their tables, engaging them in friendly conversation and ensuring they have everything they need.
  • Take reservations accurately and efficiently, both over the phone and in person.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are always clean and well-stocked.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's layout and be able to direct guests to their tables efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, with restaurant experience considered an asset.
  • Full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
