ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team in Victoria. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing drywall surfaces and applying finishes to achieve smooth and flawless walls and ceilings.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to cover walls and ceilings.
- Tape and apply joint compound to seams between drywall panels.
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Sand surfaces to remove imperfections and ensure a smooth finish.
- Repair and patch damaged drywall as needed.
- Texture drywall surfaces to match existing textures or create new textures as required.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in drywall installation, taping, finishing, and texturing techniques.
- Knowledge of different types of drywall materials and their applications.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy drywall sheets and equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver's license.
ServiceMaster Restore offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.00 per hour.
