Job Summary

The BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning and implementing quality improvement initiatives and projects, ensuring effective methodologies are used in all aspects of project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, objectives, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project events, activities, and meetings.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and barriers.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports and related documents to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of abstracts, posters, and presentations to support knowledge translation and dissemination.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and contributors to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, health administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of related professional experience in healthcare administration, preferably in quality improvement project coordination.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying project management methods, quality improvement methodologies, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
