About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Solutions Architect to join our team at Experis Canada. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end IT solutions focusing on the Guidewire Insurance suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Solutions: Create architectures that support broker connectivity, integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with BMS vendors, and ensuring designs meet functional, non-functional, service, and security requirements.
  • Produce Design Options: Develop and present design and migration options with associated costs, benefits, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Migrate Policies: Create migration solutions to convert policies from legacy systems to Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product owners, enterprise architects, and platform teams to balance long-term and short-term goals.
  • Maintain Solution Integrity: Ensure the integrity of end-to-end Guidewire solutions across platforms.
  • Communicate Complex Concepts: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify Risks and Challenges: Identify risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in Post-Implementation Reviews: Participate in post-implementation reviews to improve future designs.
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience with the Guidewire Insurance suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, Contact Manager, Guidewire Edge).
  • Broker Connectivity: Experience in broker connectivity and integrating PolicyCenter with BMS systems.
  • Cloud Platform Capabilities: Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform capabilities and cloud migration approaches.
  • Integration Architecture: Skilled in using APD and Integration Framework for business solutions.
  • Integration Architecture Design: Experience in integration architecture design and implementation.
  • Digital Technologies: Knowledge of digital technologies, cloud computing, and modern development practices.
  • Public Cloud Certification: Public cloud certification (AWS or Azure).
  • Project Lifecycle Methodologies: Strong knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (agile).
  • Financial Acumen: Financial acumen for business case development and key design decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong personal impact, influence, and leadership skills.
