Job Title: Framer-Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at 3K Construction & Framing Inc.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong background in carpentry and framing. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and constructing buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
Work Environment:

This position requires working in a construction environment, which can be physically demanding. The successful candidate must be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
