Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Wound Care: Provide wound care and dressing changes, promoting healing and preventing infection.
- Mobility and Transfers: Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Meal Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve meals to residents, promoting nutrition and hydration.
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and comfortable environment, performing light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Nursing Aide Certificate.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test.
- Competitive Salary: As per collective agreement.

- Work Environment: 30-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
